Women of CFC

This group started in 2003 with a few women who gathered to chat and to discuss various issues facing women.  Since they were meeting on a fairly consistent basis, they felt a need to name the group.  The name decided upon was Female Sons of God Ministry.  In 2014 the name was changed to Women of CFC.  We believe God is issuing a special call to this group to empower women to seek and to fulfill their God-given potential.  This is a group of women with a purpose.  

Efforts are made to support women in their relationship with God.   Most importantly, the group strives to create an atmosphere where concerns and goals can be addressed and where, through the Word of God, women can change the way they view themselves.  

Using their skills and talents and making sure their lives are lined up with the Bible, Women of CFC hope to bring about a change in the attitudes of our children, families, and communities.  

Supporting the vision of the pastor is a target.  Therefore, in addition to ministering to one another, this group is designed to encourage women to use their talents and gifts to further the work of the church, to become more compassionate and hospitable, and to minister to those who do not know Christ.  In partnership with the evangelism team, Women of CFC is reaching other women in homeless shelters with the gospel through the love of Christ. 

 Women of CFC meets every fourth Wednesday of the month with alternate dates pre-announced.  Trips and excursions are planned yearly.
